Senior Manager of Product and Customer Experience

As the Senior Manager of Product and Customer Experience, Andrea ensures that all questions by students and educators as they learn coding are fully addressed by the Globaloria Help Center. The support team and coding coaches assist students and teachers daily in solving problems by leading them through tight spots and showing them how to make rogue problems disappear. Andrea holds experiences in content management, edtech integration, and teacher training; she's well versed in JavaScript, HTML, Unity, ActionScript, and CSS. Before joining Globaloria, Andrea was Content Associate at LightSail Education, where she worked with remote teams to develop standards-aligned assessments for English and Spanish books for K12 students. Prior to that, she spent five years as a Special Education and Spanish teacher in Holmdel, New Jersey. She took on numerous leadership roles within her school community, including the creation and facilitation of district-wide and EdCamp workshops on education technology tools. Andrea is an advocate for people with disabilities and spends her free time volunteering as a Social Media Coordinator for MOCEANS Center of Independent Living, a nonprofit organization run by and for people with disabilities. Andrea holds a BA in Special Education and Spanish from Monmouth University.
